Happy Valentine's Day!

This year, the kids are really into Valentine's Day. They loved making their valentines for their friends! Lexie's class got to make whatever kind of Valentine's box they wanted. She was so excited to make a castle & she had a blast doing it!

In Joseph's class they got to make "Bottle Beasties" for their valentines. Guess what Joseph wanted to make?!

An Elephant!
(You were all thinking Dolphin, huh? He wanted a dolphin for the first week or so but then at the last minute decided on an elephant. We were surprised! And we had a good time learning random facts about them. Did you know an elephant ear weighs 110 lbs?)
Rick & I aren't the biggest fans of Valentine's Day (not really fans at all), but this year, the kids were so excited that we had to do something fun for them. Plus it's just fun doing things for our kiddos! They woke up to a heart attack (a bunch of hearts scattered around the room with things that we love about them) & balloons in their room! It was awesome to hear the excitement as they read everything.
They got a fun bag of treats & Joseph really loved it!

And Eliza learned how to hold balloons & all of the kids were super excited about that one!

We love our sweet little valentines!
