Didn't work too well, but they sure had fun!
Then they came inside & played pioneers. Lexie made herself a handcart for their journey across the plains.
Then once Rick got home from work we decided to make caramel apples. It was our first time trying & they turned out really well. And the kids had a blast washing the apples, getting the treats together & helping melt the caramel. What could be better?
Oh yeah, eating them! They were delicious!
Andrew licked off all of the yummy outside before eating any of his apple. But he did eat his apple.
Then Lexie decided to dance around, do push ups, break dance & crawl under the piano bench to see if she still fit.
And then a fun game of tackle with Dad. The evening game we have almost every night yet never tire of. It's a great one & always much laughter to be had.
And some dancing & piggy back rides.
Thursdays are usually homework day but today it was just a really fun day! Hooray for Fall Break! Boo that there is only one more day of it!
