Packages

We love getting packages! One of the best (but definitely not the best) things about this is the packing paper!

It's especially great for a snow day like today. We've played outside & got cold, warmed up, colored together, had the mail fairy come, did some homework, studied for the spelling bee, & now just need a few more fun things to do. Gratefully, yesterday the mailman brought us a package. (We got one today but it only had 3 air bubbles to pop. The entertainment factor didn't last too long.) Our package had one long piece of packing paper! This will entertain them for quite a while now! It was so much fun watching their eyes get really big & the silent gasps when they saw it out on the kitchen floor. Then they attacked! It was awesome!

They are making a mural for a party for our family. It's going to be so much fun! Let the coloring begin!

And once we're bored with this, we'll go sledding. Saturdays are just so boring around here!
